Foil veggie packets go great with any entree

You can't go wrong with a mess of veggies and butter! All summer long I really enjoyed picking veggies out of the garden or pulling out ones picked up at the Farmer's Markets and throwing them on some foil with butter and seasonings to serve along side a grilled steak or sausage or chicken breast.

Now that the cooler weather has meant that cooking is being done in the oven, the grilled meats will have to wait for a few months. BUT...the veggie foil packets work just fine in the oven. So, throw together a blend of your favorite fresh veggies, add a couple pats of butter, season it up with some salt, pepper, garlic power, oregano, basil or whatever you'd like and put it in the oven. Your taste buds will think it's summer again! :)
