I had a recent lunch meeting with some gals from a club I'm in as we finalized plans for an upcoming dinner we sponsor for veterans. On my way out the door, I grabbed some Schwan's ice cream cones because I always hate going somewhere that someone is offering food and not contributing something. I should have known that dessert was already in the plan.
Rosalie started us off with chips and a spicy cheese dip. Then followed with various sandwiches (I had turkey and cheese on a croissant), potato salad and cole slaw. Then just as we were about to get down to business, she pulled out this marbled pound cake, fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
