As I entered the Chesterton European Market, there was a wonderful smell that came my way. I followed it over to Smitty's BBQ where BBQ ribs and pulled pork was being prepared. I chatted for a couple minutes with Smitty, who said that someone came by his spot one day telling him that he didn't like pork. Smitty offered him a sample, got him hooked and now he comes every week for a sandwich.
Smitty offered me a sample, too, and the pork was very, very tender. And I LOVED the sauce, which Smitty said he makes, too. For now, you'll have to stop by the market to try it out, but he'd like to one day have a restaurant where you can stop for a sandwich any time you like.
