Strawberry Bread from What's Cookin'

Recently, I took a road trip with my dad to Charleston, Illinois, the town where he and my mom grew up and met. We met two of my cousins and one of their wives for lunch and he suggested a restaurant just off the town square called What's Cookin'. It was a good recommendation. Lunch was very good and it was a cute place. On the way out, we noticed their homemade strawberry bread. Dad bought a loaf and shared with us.

It didn't have a real strong flavor of strawberry, just a hint. My son said it tasted like zucchini bread. It got gobbled up pretty quickly! And it is nice to look at the list of ingredients and see only items that you have in your own kitchen - not ones that were concocted in a lab.
