Chicago welcomes Plum Market

The first Chicago Plum Market location opened its doors recently with a celebration of food demonstrations, free samples, complimentary coffee, musical entertainment and raffles. The Old Town store at 1233 N. Wells held its grand opening in late June.

The neighborhood grocer operates three stores in Michigan. It specializes in ogranic produce, seasonal items from local growers and high-quality specialty items. It also carries a variety of hot and cold entrees made fresh daily by in-house chefs. They also offer a concierge service to assist with anything from menu planning to delivery service.

The 27,000 square foot store also brought 150 jobs to the neighborhood. For more information, visit www.plummarket.com, like them on facebook http://www.facebook.com/PlumMarketChicago and follow them at @PlumMarket on twitter (#PlumMarketCHI).  Plum Market is also active on Pinterest and Instagram.
