I went to Cooking Planit to find a recipe and this Asian Lite recipe looked fantastic. However, I didn't have several of the ingredients, so I used it as inspiration to use what i had on hand to make something similar. I have a couple other recipes selected to try out in the new pans. So, here's what I came up with Teriyaki Chicken with Somen Noodles.
6 ounces somen noodles
1 pound chicken tenderloin
1 bottle teriyaki 30-minute marinade (from Aldi)
1/2 cup sliced cremini mushrooms
1 cup broccoli
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped zucchini
Cook noodles as directed while preparing chicken and vegetables.
Heat olive oil in pan.
Add chicken to pan until cooked throughout.
Sautee mushrooms in separate pan. Then add to skillet with chicken.
Add broccoli, zucchini and carrots to pan with a little more teriyaki sauce.
So, let me tell you about the T-fal cookware. I used one of the pots to boil the noodles. I love the pans (they have measurements on the inside of the pan, which is really awesome!) and the lids with rubberized handles that stay cool. Same with the handles on the pans, which are non stick.
The set had two sauté pans, three covered sauce pans, a covered Dutch oven and two stainless steel utensils. So far I am loving it and can't wait to do more cooking!
