Fixed price tasting menus are a wonderful way to try a variety of dishes in several courses at some of Chicago's hottest spots. That's the idea behind Chicago Restaurant Week, which wraps up in a few days. Jellyfish is also offering such a menu in celebration of Valentine's Day. CHICAGO (February 2014) Jellyfish, the hip  Pan-Asian eatery and lounge located in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast at 1009 N. Rush Street, promises an arousal of the senses  with itsValentine’s Day Tasting Menu, at $50 per person, served from 5:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. on Friday, February 14 only (tax & gratuity not included).  Reservations are now being accepted and can be made by calling Jellyfish at (312) 660-3111.  Jellyfish’s regular dinner menu is available as well.

The Valentine’s Day Tasting menu features:
Course One:
v  Kumamoto Oysters with ponzu-yuzu gelee, crispy kombu, green apple or Peekytoe Crab Soup with curry, corn biscuit.
Course Two: 
v  Sashimi Bouquet with salmon, tuna, super white tuna selections.
Course Three: 
v  Slow Braised Zabuton Shortrib with kabocha squash puree, roasted maitake mushrooms, flowers or Lobster Strawberry Roll with lobster topped with strawberry-balsamic relish.
Dessert:
v  Dessert Assortment with chocolate covered strawberries, taro Ă©clair, and chocolate blueberry tartlet.
