Smokey Bourbon Chili using Tonguespank Spice Co. spices

Tonguespank Spice Co. sent out a sample of a couple of their products, including a bottle of the Smoky Bourbon which I tried out in some chili. It doesn't take much to add a lot of heat, so use it wisely. At least if you have a sensitive palate like mine. For those who don't flinch at such intense flavor, have at it. I tried it with just a bit and let my husband, who likes his much hotter than I do, add a little more.

1 pound ground beef
2 cans mild chili beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Tongue Spank Smokey Bourbon (to taste)

Brown beef and drain. Add spices and tomatoes and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add beans. Simmer another half hour. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and serve with crackers.
