One thing that is so refreshing on a summer day while walking around a festival is one of those big cups of fresh squeezed lemonade. I held on to the covered cup from one of our festival adventures last summer and when I'm in the mood for a serving or two rather than making a big pitcher full, this is what I do.
2 cups cold water
3/4 to 1 cup sugar to taste
freshly squeezed juice from 1 large lemon or two small to medium sized lemons
4 or 5 ice cubes
Put in your cup and cover. Hold the lid on and shake it like crazy. :)
