is excited to announce the restaurant will be celebrating tomatoes throughout the month of August with a special three-course Degustazione di Pomodoro (tomato tasting) menu ($27). Located in the heart of the loop, The Florentine is a popular spot for business lunchers hungry for seasonal Italian cuisine. From August 11 through September 1, guests will be able to feast on Executive Chef Chris Macchia’s tomato-filled menu including: 

Antipasti
Buffalo Mozzarella, green zebra brodo, lump crab

Pasta
Ricotta Ravioli, heirloom cherry tomato ragu, marjoram

Dolce
Brandywine Tomato Cobbler, olive oil gelato, basil zabaglione
