WHAT
Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine celebrates ten years in Chicago, and everyone is invited to a free anniversary party at the original 2945 North Broadway shop on Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pastoral will serve house-made pizzas with some of the Pastoral cheesemongers' favorite small batch and specialty cheeses, Pastoral's very own blue cheese popcorn made with Rogue Creamery blue cheese, a bubbly toast, cheese & accompaniment tastings, raffles, live bluegrass music by Indignation Jones, cash bar and a house-made cheesecake for dessert prepared by Chef Brooks Hart at Bar Pastoral. $10 deals are also offered at all store locations throughout the month, including a special limited time sandwich and commemorative Pastoral 10th Anniversary t-shirts that are available online and in-stores.

In 2004, Pastoral opened its doors in Lakeview with a mission to provide Chicago with the highest level of service and education for customers, striving to make shopping for and consuming small batch and specialty goods enlightening, approachable, fun and delicious. National award-winning Pastoral has since grown to include three shops in Chicago, an online store that ships nationwide, the cheese & wine bistro Bar Pastoral located adjacent and connected to the original Pastoral location, plus a successful catering and wholesale business that serves restaurants throughout Chicagoland.
