Back when I started this food blog, I had never tried Lou Malnati's and I couldn't understand the hype. I'd had lots of good deep dish Chicago-style pizza. I didn't think Lou Malnati's could be that much different. Wow, was I wrong. I think it's the sauce that distinguishes it from others, but once I tried it I was hooked.
Last week I was in Flossmoor for work and decided to swing by the new carry-out location that opened this past fall. I had a heck of a time deciding between deep dish and thin crust. So...I ordered both. Problem solved!
I'm so glad that there's now a location for south suburbanites who would love a bite of Lou's without heading into the city or out to Naperville or another faraway suburb.
