Ghost Isle Brewing: New Buffalo, MI

It had been a while since we had been to Southwest Michigan. Aside from a Valentine’s Dinner earlier this year at Tosi’s, we hadn’t been there since before the pandemic. So when traveling home from St. Joe on Red Arrow Highway, we surprised to see another brewery had opened in NewBuffalo.

Hubby was interested in beer. I was hungry. He had a stout and a blonde ale. I got a Cuban sandwich for us to split. That was a pretty awesome sandwich.

We walked out onto the deck to look around. The property surrounding it is wetlands that were donated by the family that owns the brewery to the Chickaming Open Lands Preserve.

It’s always fun to find a new brewery and we were happy to come across this one.
