Foodie Sisters on Chicago Adventure
Foodie Sisters Carrie and Becky had a foodie adventure day in downtown Chicago. Come along for some yummy foodie spots!
Next stop: Garret’s popcorn (to take home with us)
Off to a new destination for both of us, Goddess and the Baker, for more goodies to take home.
We split a burger at the Shake Shack (sooo tasty)!!
We had to make a stop at Pret for ginger beer to take home and their orange cardamom chocolate bars are the best!
We completed our day with a visit to Del Frisco’s for a tremendous steak dinner! More than we could possibly eat, but sampled everything, we had: crab cake and Nueske bacon appetizers, heirloom tomato and burrata salad, red wine with filet and 45-day dry aged prime strip, potatoes with fontina and truffle oil, lobster Mac and cheese and buttercake and lemon cake desserts!
What a fun and delicious day! :)
First stop, Becky’s very favorite restaurant in all of Chicago: The Gage We tried their scotch egg appetizer (so delicous!) and a smoked salmon BLT (to die for!) and tried their homemade lavender soda and ginger beer #ineedmoreinmylife!
