Chicago Foodie Sisters Announces the Downtown Valpo Culinary Pedaler Tour on August 6

I'm so excited to be combining some of my favorite things to host a first time culinary tour in downtown Valparaiso! 

The inaugural Downtown Valpo Culinary Pedaler Tour will take place Wednesday, August 6 from 4-7 pm.

My book Unique Eats and Eateries of Indiana was released in the fall of 2024, featuring 83 different eateries from around the state. Several of them are located in Valparaiso and this tour will highlight some of the unique downtown Valparaiso locations that are included in the book. The narrated 3-hour tour will give background on locations with some light sampling, a pre-tour beverage and some fun raffles.

The tour will begin at Beer Pedaler Headquarters at 359 Jefferson Street and participants will pedal to each of the stops. (There are a number of non-pedal seats as well).

Cost is $53 per person ($60 per person after 8/3). Payment can be made via Venmo, PayPal or Zelle. To register, email uniqueeats@mail.com or send a direct message via the Unique Eats and Eateries of Indiana Facebook page. Seating is limited (pedaler will hold 14 passengers).

Signed copies of Unique Eats and Eateries of Indiana will also be available for purchase at the tour.
