I have to throw one more tech gift idea in the mix. This one wasn't included at the showcase, but since it's foodie-related I wanted to suggest it.
iGrill 3 by Weber
This device allows you to monitor the temperature of your food via bluetooth on the iGrill app. My husband is a grilling enthusiastic who used his quite a bit over the summer. Let me tell you, he made the best prime rib roast this summer after he got this device. And he loved the convenience of sitting inside in the air conditioning and monitoring the temp rather than standing outside in the sweltering heat and opening the grill over and over to check and see how done it was. It retails for about $90.00.

I also have to include a shout-out to Formento's for the lovely lunch. I have been hearing great things about Formento's for quite some time and was happy to finally get a chance to try it out.
We started with some Nonna's meatballs and a kale salad with Brussels sprouts, raisins, almonds and citrus vinaigrette and then moved on to rigatoni with roasted mushrooms, shishito peppers and parmesan, salmon, roasted potatoes and wood-grilled brocolini. Dessert was a tiramisu profiterole.
