The Brat Stop in Kenosha, WI
If you have ever driven north on I-94 into the state of Wisconsin, you've likely pulled into the Brat Stop, lured by the big C-H-E-E-S-E sign. If you haven't, there's no excuse. It is right beside the expressway. It's chock full of goodies from that great state. Sausages. Cheese. Cheese Curds. Racine Kringles. For the love of all things fatty and creamy, do yourself a favor and make a stop this summer.
While the store and gift shop has everything you'd want as a foodie souvenir from Cheesehead land, there's also a restaurant with an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and daily specials. You can nosh on beer and brats until you burst. I've only stayed to eat once, which was at lunchtime, but from what I understand it's also a lively place when the sun goes down with concerts taking place on regular basis. They've hosted such bands as Loverboy, The Charlie Daniels Band, Trace Adkins, Sugar Land and Eddie Money.
Check out their website at bratstop.com. And if you make the trek there, be sure to tell them the Chicago Foodie Sisters sent you! :)

My favorite is the Brat Reuben.
