Beggar’s Pizza

Early last year I moved out of the community I’d lived in for 30 years in the south suburbs. It’s no surprise that what I often miss most is the food - the restaurants I’d visit often, the owners I knew and the foods that were favorites. 

There was no shortage of good pizza in the area and at the top of my list was Beggar’s. I was in town last week to write an article on the new organist at Beggar’s Pizza in Lansing and the return of live organ music for the first time in over three years. Just as good as I remember - especially with sausage and green peppers. 

Stop by and grab a pie - especially on Tuesdays and Fridays when you can hear it live organ music starting at 6 PM.
