Blue Point in Valparaiso, IN

Do you have a go-to place where you know that no matter what you get, it will be really good? For us, it's Blue Point Seafood and Oyster Bar in Valparaiso. I've tried so many menu items there and so many specials and everything is top notch.

On Tuesdays they have a few sushi rolls at half-price. My favorite is the Godzilla Roll - and it's what I'm getting if I'm there on Sushi Night. They have great dipping sauces, too.

I've had their fish specials, fried shrimp, salad, pasta dishes and more - which are even better when enjoyed outside overlooking the courthouse and downtown Valparaiso. They have killer cocktails, too - like the "Witches Brew" pictured below as a seasonal fall beverage.

The cod is one of my favorites. If you're a seafood lover, this is a spot you need to try out.
