Johnsonvile Italian Sausage

One frequent meal around here is homemade pizza. Sometimes we make it on Italian bread, sometimes on pre-made crust, sometimes on tortillas, sometimes on English muffins. This time we used flatbread my son brought home from the bakery he worked at. It made a great base. As far as toppings, the kids usually stick to pepperoni while I load on veggies and sausage. Johnsonville's Italian Mild Sausage is perfect for pizza. I brown it in a skillet ahead of time and then add to the pizza when it is already fully cooked. It makes for a delicious pizza that rivals that of the local pizzerias. :)
