I'm a fan of Schwan's products - especially the ice cream. I do like a lot of their meat products, as well.
So, when I saw before Christmas that they had prime rib, I ordered a roast. When I finally thawed it and got around to making it recently, I realized that it was in an oven bag, which made it easy to prepare. I followed the instructions exactly, using a meat thermometer to make sure I had the internal temperature correct. It also had a peppered crust, which added some great flavor. Overall, I was pleased. I can't say it was restaurant quality, but considering the ease at which it could be prepared and the reasonable price, it was a definite win.
