Seared

On a visit to Seared in the Westin Hotel Chicago Northwest, I had a few amazing bar bites along with some cocktails. We visited on a winter weekday that was a slow time, so the dining room wasn't open, but we decided to hang out at the bar and have some light bites.

I had a mojito and hubby had an old fashioned. We enjoyed it with two appetizers - the pub fries and the beet goat cheese bruschetta. Both were phenomenal and a delicious upgrade to a couple of my favorite foods. It made me even more excited about enjoying a meal in the dining room at Seared sometime. The fine dining restaurant offers a creative menu that includes locally-raised Cab Beef from family farms in Maple Park and Oswego, high-quality seafood and decadent desserts.
