STK Steakhouse Summer Soltice Event

The Chicago Foodie Sisters met up last week for the Summer Solstice Celebration at STK Steakhouse in River North. Kicking off the summer season, the venue held a sizzling event highlighting bites of their most popular dishes and bringing together media personalities from throughout Chicagoland. We were excited to be there and met some of the newest influencers, bloggers, photographers, models and other amazing people - as well as seeing some familiar faces.

We noshed on steak bites, sliders, shrimp, oysters, octopus, charcuterie cups and more in their private event space.

It was the first time there for both of us and we agreed that it felt like a party as soon as you walked in the door. It's known for vibe dining - creating an elevated dining experience with upscale cocktails, premium food offerings, chic decor and in-house DJ.

We also learned a little about the possibilities for special events and private dining and some of the great deals they offer, including their Sunday through Thursday "Steak Night America" menu at just $69 per person (including steak, starters, sides, dessert and wine). They have some nice $3, $6 and $9 happy hour offerings, a $9.99 burger and chips lunch, a $45 prix fixe power lunch and a Sunday brunch with a $9.99 Wagyu Burger and fries and $30 bottomless mimosas.

Food was amazing. Cocktails were delicious. Vibe was 5:00 Friday. Loved everything about it.

Next time you're looking for a spot for cocktails, a date night or to celebrate a special occasion, this place will not disappoint.
