The Cooking Channel to feature three Chicago eateries
An upcoming episode of the Cooking Channel's Road Trip With G. Garvin will include three Chicago eateries. The series featuring Chef Gerry Garvin, known as "G" is now in its 3rd season. The new season premiered May 21st.
The Atlanta native recently visited the Windy City for some comfort food at Grandma J's Kitchen, some ultimate chicken at Honey Butter Fried Chicken and some unique dishes with Southern Flair at The Purple Pig, including fried pig's ear with crispy kale, pickled cherry peppers and a fried egg. See the Chicago episode on the Cooking Channel on Tuesday, July 22 at 9 p.m. CST.
