Orange Julius
Years ago my mother-in-law mentioned an Orange Julius to me. I had never had one. She passed on a newspaper clipping (this was in the pre-Internet days) of the recipe. My kids loved it and I make it for them from time to time. It's super easy and so yummy and frothy.
1 12-ounce can of frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
About 10 ice cubes
Add items to your blender. I usually start on a grind or ice-crush setting to get it going and then move to blend to help it get a nice creamy and foamy texture. It only takes about 45 - 60 seconds and you've got a delicious, refreshing drink that is perfect for a warm, sunny day.
