Peddlers Pizza Pub: Valparaiso, IN
While looking around downtown Valparaiso, Indiana for a lunch spot we settled on Peddler's Pizza. It was our first time visiting and I'd heard good things about the place and was excited to try it out. It's in one of those long, narrow century-plus old buildings with exposed brick. It's located directly across the street from the courthouse with a nice area in front for patio seating along the main thoroughfare through town, Lincolnway.
I loved that there were several options for crust styles and I ordered two. One was a personal pan pizza wit sausage. There are also a number of specialty pizzas, including one called "The Whole Enchilada" which had been highly recommended. I ordered it on the cracker thin crust and loved it. It included chicken breast, cheese, onion and a drizzle of enchilada sauce garnished with green onion.
Salads are build-your-own starting with a spinach and romaine base and anything that can top a pizza can also top your salad. They also have a pizza of the week special pizza and a nice cocktail and beer menu, as well. For more information, visit peddlerspizzapub.com.
