As the nation's best bands take over the Hideout's front yard during its 17th annual block party, party-goers will flock to Wabansia Street in hopes of spotting their favorite drummer, lead singer or guitarist during the intimate festival. Groupies can look no further than to the Hideout's neighbor - Ada St., where owners Chef Michael Kornick and David Morton will be hosting the musicians playing at the block party all weekend long.
There is no backstage pass needed to sip on one of Ada St.'s 40 cocktails while seated near performers such as Mavis Staples, Jon Langford, The Walkmen, Trampled by Turtles and many more. You never know who is going to slide into the cozy baguette next to you!
The Hideout's Annual Block Party takes place on Friday, September 6th at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 7, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
