Shaws wants to see your #shellfie


This year marks the 30th anniversary of Shaw's Crab House, with locations in Chicago and Schaumburg. And since it's also the year of the selfie and the hashtag, they're celebrating with a fun #shellfie campaign to encourage diners to document their visit on social media for a chance to win $250 and VIP tickets to this year's 26th Annual Oyster Fest.

Look for Shaw's high-profile #Shellfie billboard designed by Melvin Creative on the Ohio Street Feeder Ramp off of Interstate 90/94, which conveniently leads diners to the restaurant's River North location. 

Shaw's #Shellfie campaign launched on Monday and runs through Sept. 15, 2014. Dine at either Shaw's Crab House location (Chicago or Schaumburg), snap your photo while there, and post to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #Shellfie, @Shellyfromshaws, and tagging which location.
Shaw's Crab House, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, features a 1940s-style take on the seafood dining experience, with retro leather banquettes, polished wood floors and Art Deco touches.

The Oyster Bar provides a more casual setting for diners and serves up live music five nights a week at the Chicago location and Friday and Saturday nights at the Schaumburg location.
