A menu for Mom to enjoy at 2 Sparrows

From the inbox...Mother's Day is quickly approaching and 2 Sparrows has a fabulous line-up for mom to enjoy on her special day!

2 Sparrows welcomes Chicagoans to treat moms to a delicious Mother's Day weekend full of brunch favorites, bright & bubbly cocktails, chocolate and more.  To start mom's special weekend off early, 2 Sparrows is hosting a wine and chocolate pairing in partnership with Lakeview's KC Chocolatier on Friday, May 9th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This guided tasting will be lead by 2 Sparrows Beverage Director Ryne Schofstal and KC's Karin Lovelady and will feature four chocolate truffles ranging from white to dark paired with four wines. Moms can be treated to a sweet start to their special weekend. Following the pairing, guests will be encouraged to visit KC Chocolatier to stock up on chocolate for Mother's Day. The wine & chocolate pairing is priced at $25 per person/$45 per couple prior to the event and $30 per person/$50 per couple day of, and reservations can be made by calling (773) 234-2320. For the entire Mother's Day weekend, Lincoln Park's favorite brunch destination will be offering a menu of seasonal, chef-driven brunch dishes by Chef Greg Ellis, plus one-of-a-kind specials created with mom in mind. Moms can feel extra spoiled with featured celebratory sippers created by Ryne Schofstal. Families can say "Happy Mother's Day" with one (or more) of three pink and bubbly craft cocktails including the Rhubarb Hum Bellini (hum, rhubarb puree, Prosecco), Pink Lemonade (gin, lemon, simple syrup, rhubarb puree, bitters) and the White Wine Spritzer (white wine, club soda, lemon).  Plus, the typically 'no reservations' spots will be accepting alimited number of reservations for Mother's Day brunch on Sunday, May 11th, so families taking mom out can be sure to secure a table. About 2 Sparrows 2 Sparrows is a seasonally-driven breakfast, lunch and brunch outpost located in the heart of Chicago's charming Lincoln Park neighborhood at 553. W. Diversey Pkwy.
