Valentine's Gift Guide

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and if you're still looking for ideas to pamper your favorite person, I've got a few ideas to send your way. Some are food related and others are some random ideas or experiences - stuff that I would definitely not mind being treated to. Wishing you and your special person a wonderful, romantic celebration.

I am so obsessed with these amazing treats. Made with high quality ingredients, these amazingly fudgy brownies contain imported Belgian chocolate. There's a variety of different flavors and you can buy assortment boxes to try out several different varieties. My faves have been walnut, raspberry swirl, cream cheese and chocolate chip.

I also love that the brownies come in three different sizes, the full-size, half-size and bite-size. They're also gluten-free options, as well, and they're amazing. I'd never suspect they were gluten-free if I didn't see it on the package. Sugar-free and no-nut versions are also available. They also have some super cute packaging with designs for any occasion. They also do custom packaging.

The Phoenix-based business started in 1992 and they've baked more than 80 million brownies. Go to the website, brownies.com and sign up for email and text notifications and get 10-15% off an order.

Take your partner out for a romantic meal and cocktails at Texas de Brazil. Enjoy a traditional Brazilian churrasco experience where you can opt for a feast of unlimited meat, select from a huge array of salads and sides on the market table and delectable desserts. They'll have extended hours for Valentine's celebrations.

I'm a huge tea lover and if you also have a big tea fan that you want to surprise, this Chocolate Cherry Bomb is one of many of The Tea Spot flavors that offer a little bit of sweetness for your tea cabinet that fits along with the Valentine theme.

There's a special currently running online where you get a free Everest tea tumbler with a $75 purchase.

Looking for a perfect guy gift? Place an order for the meaty hearts with messages from Manly Man Co. for your man. They also offer a highly popular bacon bouquet. Get 10% off when you sign up for their emails.

Who doesn't love premium chocolates. Sugar Plum Chocolates offers some delicious treats with a romantic, vintage flair.

Also among the offerings is the Happy Valentine's Box:

The Charley Creek Inn is offering a Romance Package for Valentine's Day. This historic award-winning inn in Wabash, Indiana makes for a lovely couples overnight. You'll love the glamorous 20s vibes of this restored property. The package includes dinner for two at their restaurant, Twenty, a bottle of wine, chocolates and a rose.

Truluck's in Rosemont has some lovely plans for Valentine's Day. If you are really wanting to wow your sweetheart, do so with a high-quality seafood feast at this fine seafood venue. It's the ultimate special occasion spot. Here's what they're offering:

‘Sinners & Saints’ Valentine’s Menu
Truluck’s chef-curated Valentine’s entrée selection pairs Ora King salmon with wagyu strip steak for an instantly iconic surf and turf. Also featured on the special “Sinners & Saints” menu are Lobster Tempura BAO and Brie and Lobster Mac & Cheese. All special selections are available a la carte, complimented by Truluck’s full seasonal dinner menu. Couples are invited to top off their memorable meal with the decadent splendor of chocolate covered long-stem strawberries or any of Truluck’s trademark sharable desserts.

Caviar Celebrations and Blissful Beginnings
For an incomparably luxurious start to their Valentine’s experience, diners can indulge in Truluck’s newly introduced private label caviar. TRU Caviar Service offers two distinct selections, catering to devotees as well as guests encountering the delicacy for the first time.

Exclusive to Truluck’s, Trident Royale Caviar is sourced from Prunier, a renowned French producer with a 150-year legacy of excellence, and perfected from Siberian sturgeon raised in France. Celebrated worldwide for its exquisite quality, and nutty, rich, buttery, yet briny, flavor, this caviar is chocolate brown to dark amber in color. Truluck’s Private Reserve Caviar, made from sustainably farmed white sturgeon from California’s Sacramento River, boasts medium-large, semi-firm eggs in shades of onyx to light or dark brown, providing a creamy, nutty flavor profile with earthy undertones and a velvety finish.

As part of the TRU Caviar Service, guests’ selected caviar is accompanied by traditional accoutrements of chives, chopped hard-boiled egg, and crème fraiche, with warm blinis and potato chips to complement the flavor. Both selections pair beautifully with Truluck’s signature Florida Stone Crab claws, delivered fresh from trap to table in under 24 hours.

Lovely Libations
Guests can toast to their special evening with a TRU Temptation specialty cocktail – a delectable blend of vodka, amaro, fresh lemon, almond, and strawberry, garnished with two dried tea roses – or an exquisite bottle of wine from Truluck’s award-winning wine list. Truluck’s curated beverage offerings include more than 40 wines by the glass and 200 bottle selections alongside an array of thoughtfully crafted cocktails including zero-proof options.

Grand Geneva Resort is one of my favorite places for a romantic getaway and it is especially cozy during the winter month when you can spend some time staying in and snuggling by the fire. Here's a look at what they've got in store:

Grand Geneva is known as a top destination for romantic getaways with its exceptional wellness and culinary offerings. New this year, the resort will be hosting a special Caymus in the Country package on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14. This event package offers couples a romantic overnight getaway and experience full of flavors -- a curated tasting of select wines from the celebrated Cayman collection paired with a special curated tasting menu designed by the resort's Executive Chef, Jonathan Gutierrez. Guests will enjoy menu items such as The Silken Pearl Oyster Bisque; Sun-kissed Citrus Habanero Salmon; Coffee and Chipotle Crusted Beef Tenderloin, and more (view the menu here). Those unable to stay the evening may book the dinner on its own for $175 plus tax and gratuity per person.

Couples interested in a spa break can take advantage of Grand Geneva's WELL Spa + Salon and its spa treatments including a couples massage, CBD massage and more. Guests visiting the spa over Valentine's Day weekend can expect enhancements such as specialty mimosas and fun surprises.
