Sophia’s House of Pancakes: Merrillville, IN

I'm always looking for a new breakfast place to check out. When an old high school friend and I planned on getting together for lunch, she suggested Sophia's House of Pancakes in Merrillville, which I'd never been to before. I had been to a Sophia's location in Highland, but it had been a few years.

They had all the classics on the menu and I opted for Eggs Benedict, but I love to always do my eggs scrambled. It came with hash browns, which were just the way I liked them - mostly soft with a little outer crunch.

Sherry opted for biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. I did try a little bite of the biscuits and gravy (one of my breakfast faves) and it was quite good. I would definitely go back to try more.
