Holidays are feasting time
It's been enough days now since Thanksgiving that turkey looks good again. In the days leading up to turkey day, I can't wait for it. After a few days of leftovers, I've had my fill and don't want to see it again for a while. Hubby worked on Thanksgiving, so we celebrated on an alternate day with a turkey and all the trimmings. The trimming are usually what I like the best. This year it included mashed potatoes, corn, Brussel sprouts, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, noodles, green bean casserole and rolls with pumpkin pie for dessert.
Our Christmas is a little different with lots of appetizers and not so many trimmings and usually ham for the main dish (and sometimes turkey as well.) We're definitely in the season of feasting ~ a time of year that foodies like us surely enjoy!
