Celebrate Oktoberfest at Glenview Haus
It's that time when the biggest party of the year is approaching in Munich Germany. And even though we are many, many miles from Munich, there are plenty of places in Chicagoland where you can raise a stein and celebrate like a German.
Glenview Haus in Glenview will be hosting their 5th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 17. Of course, there will be beer involved (including one of my favorites - Hacker Pschorr) as well as Bavarian food specialities (brats, German potato salad, kraut and giant pretzels) and music by Die Musikmeisters. I've seen them in the past and there's no way you can not have a good time while they are in the vicinity. :)
A jump house will also be there to keep the kids busy along with face painting.
Oktoberfest takes place Sept. 17 from 11 am to 11 p.m with free admission and the dining room will be open for regular hours.
