Pirro’s Sauces

Pasta is something I make often for the kids. It's one of those meals that everyone in the family seems to like. Most of the time I make the dish without meat. Several of the boys like it better that way and it makes for a quick, easy meal when all I have to do is boil the pasta and add the sauce. But there is big difference in sauces and the sauce you use can be a make or break when it comes to dinner. So, I was excited to give Pirro's sauces a try.
The recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and were served for years at Pirro's Ristorante in suburban Woodstock, IL. Produced with all-natural, local ingredients, there are several varieties to enjoy. So far, I have tried the marinara, which was a perfect penne topping and I look forward to trying more. I love the company's commitment to quality, community and family. You can find Pirro's sauces in a number of supermarkets in the area, including Meijer, Whole Foods, Jewel Osco and others.
