Hi, foodie friends -
Looking for something for that hard-to-buy-for-person or something, fun, unusual, quirky or practical for the foodie in your life? We've compiled a list of some of our favorite things. Take a look! You may want to also bookmark for later use when it's Mother's or Father's Day or there's a birthday or other special occasion. I also plan to add to it as we find more things we love.
We wish you a wonderful holiday and hope you are able to celebrate with those you love - in whatever way you can this year. Whether that means in-person or via Zoom - or like us sisters are doing and meeting up in the parking lot of an ice cream and candy store to exchange gifts outdoors - and parked more than 6 feet apart.
Happy Holidays and Keep Spreading the Foodie Love in 2021!
Love,
Carrie & Becky
CARRIE'S TOP GIFT IDEA:
Sweet Alice Electric Salt & Pepper Grinders
$18.97 on Amazon
I have a TikToker from the far northwest suburbs to thank for this. I discovered it while watching @cookingwithdarryl and had to have it. It's really super awesome. I used to spend too much time and expended too much wrist energy to get my pepper ground. This makes it super quick and easy and I love the light on it. The price has come down just since I bought mine in October (for over $20) and it is currently just $18.97 and comes with a bonus spatula. There's still time to order for Christmas and if you're a prime member or add something to your order to bump up your purchase over $25, your shipping will be free.
BECKY's TOP GIFT IDEA:
Pampered Chef's Deluxe Cooking Blender
$349 on Pampered Chef website or through a Pampered Chef consultant (discounted if you are a party host)
Becky has been raving out her new blender that she uses for smoothies and lots of other things. It also COOKS soups! She's been making tomato soup in it and then there's a self-cleaning feature where hot water runs through to clean it. She can't stop talking about it and I decided I needed one, too. She got hers 1/2 price for hosting an online party. I'll be hosting a party starting right after Christmas and hope to get enough sales to also get one for 1/2 off or more. (Shoot me a message on Facebook if you'd like a link to my online party). Her favorite thing to make in it is a blackberry cashew smoothie and she said it can also make nut butters. She also said it is great for crushing ice a pulverizing spinach so you're left with no chunks.
