Festive Foods offer pierogi at farmer's market

I recently visited the Munster Farmer's Market for the first time. I'll have to make sure I get there early on my next visit, because by the time I got to this vendor, they were all out. of PIEROGI!!! That word just a makes me giddy and makes my tummy tingle!

I talked briefly to Sergi Ely, who operates his business out of a church basement kitchen in Northwest Indiana and then sells pierogi and stuffed cabbage at Farmers Markets and events in the area. Sweet guy - and he is passionate about pierogi! I can't wait to try them out on a future visit!
