Ham & Cheese Sliders
Ever since I was a young kid I have loved ham sandwiches, especially hot ham sandwiches with cheese melted on top. I still love them. I like to make these sometimes for a snack for the boys or for a weekend lunch.
After I place the ham and cheese on dinner rolls or Hawaiian rolls I brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with some onion soup mix - or if I don't have that, I make up a little concoction of minced onion, garlic and Italian seasoning. I wrap them in foil and place in a 350-degree oven for about 7 or 8 minutes - just long enough to melt the cheese.
