Visit Eddie V’s During Restaurant Week

Chicago Restaurant Week is underway and we attended a preview event to get a glimpse of some of the items that would be offered at Eddie V's Prime Seafood.

After the event, we opted to stay and try the full meal. Chef Jose Gonzalez told us we were the very first ones to order from the restaurant week menu (we were there a few days before it officially began.)

The dinner offering is $48 for three courses. Mine were the Maine Lobster Bisque (delicious!), an 8-ounce filet with white truffle mashed potatoes and Hot Banana Foster Cake for dessert.

Hubby had Crispy Salt & Pepper Shrimp for his first course, followed by the Roased Double Breast of Chicken and Butterscotch Panda Cotta with Salted Caramel for dessert.

During the earlier event, we also tried the Norwegian Salmon and that was actually my favorite of the whole night.

Pair you dinner with a signature cocktail. Mine was the Hope Diamond, which was a sweet concoction with a square  purple ice cube. Really pretty and quite tasty!

Time is running out. Chicago Restaurant Week ends on February 7! Visit eddiev.com for more info.
