Jalapeno’s: Schererville, Indiana

On a recent girls night out, I met some friends at Jalapeños in Schererville, IN. It had been a long time since I'd been there. They're known for not just the food but the many flavors of jumbo margaritas. I, of course, ate my share of chips and salsa.

My entree was the Chicken Durango, a flavorful marinated chicken breast with spinach, mushrooms, sweet corn, pico de Gallo and a cheese sauce. In place of frijoles and rice, I opted for sautéed veggies. It was a nice mix of fresh vegetables and a perfect low-carb choice.



One of my friends opted for tacos, which looked pretty tasty. I've never had a bad meal there. It's a fun place to stop whether it's for a late weeknight cocktail, a chill lunch or a dinner out with girlfriends.
