Whiskey Bent Saloon
On our trip last month to Nashville, we had a little time to kill before we had to head to the airport for our 7 p.m. flight. Not much time -- just about a half hour. We had just finished dinner and so I persuaded hubby to make one more stop for a drink before leaving town. We stopped by Whiskey Bent Saloon for a quick cocktail and to take in a little live entertainment.
I was blown away by the talent at all these tiny bars downtown. You'd walk down the street and place after place had live music with no cover charge and usually windows were open or doors were propped pulling you inside to hear more. We picked a great low-key spot for a couple songs on a Monday night before making our way home. It was a sweet goodbye to this city that I fell in love with and can't wait to get back to.
