All summer long I make batches of fresh salsa. Right now everything but the cilantro is coming from the store. Later on, we'll have tomatoes and peppers and maybe some cucumbers from the garden. That's when it gets REALLY good!
Most of the time, I make it on the milder side because that's what I prefer. But, my hubby likes his salsa hot and spicy, so I made this batch to his liking.
1 cucumber, diced
3 large tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeño, diced with seeds included
Juice from one lime
a few drizzles of olive oil
1/2 tsp of garlic salt
Serve with tortilla chips.
