A kid favorite: Pigs in a Blanket
With a few leftover dogs that had been made on the grill, I decided I'd make the kids one of their favorites, pigs in a blanket. Or as the bunch of pre-teen and teen boys around here call them with a snicker, crescent weiners. It couldn't be easier. In fact, it's so easy, they usually do the work and I just get to supervise.
1 tube of crescent dough
8 hot dogs
Separate dough and wrap one piece of crescent dough around each hot dog. Bake at 375 for about 16 - 18 minutes or until the dough browns.
