Tickets to the fourth annual Hamburger Hop and the newly added Late Night Gourmet - the official kick off events to Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet - will be available for purchase online atwww.chicagogourmet.org beginning Thursday, August 8 at 10 a.m.

An ideal launch to a spirited epicurean weekend, the Hamburger Hop - presented by the venerable Allen Brothers Steaks and Blue Moon Brewing Company - invites top chefs to fire up their grills in a competition on Friday, September 27 to create the city's best burger. This lively, interactive event - expected to draw a sold-out crowd of more than 1,000 - will feature a panel of celebrity industry experts who will judge the juicy entries. Bon Appétit Editor in Chief Adam Rapoport and Restaurant and Drinks Editor Andrew Knowlton will emcee the evening's festivities. Participants and judges will be announced soon.
Newly added to this year's celebratory lineup is Late Night Gourmet - a Friday night after-party held at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel and sponsored by CS magazine. Late Night Gourmet will host chefs, VIPs, and Chicago's hospitality elite with food, drinks, and music, carrying the revelry well into the night. Tickets to this event can be purchased separately and are also available at special pricing if purchased with Hamburger Hop tickets.
