Less than 100 tickets remain for Valpo Beer Rally
A new event will be taking place on May 1st that stemmed from the popular Valpo Brewfest, a beer tasting festival that started in 2010 and draws over 3,000 attendees. Snagging tickets for the annual September event isn't easy! Last year's event sold out within 30 minutes.
Valpo's new beer tasting event, the Valpo Beer Rally, will take place in Valpo's Butterfield Pavilion. The event is organized by BrewFest Partners, the same event planners that bring you the Valpo Brewfest. Tickets went on sale at noon yesterday and less than 100 tickets remain. This event will offer a more intimate setting with only 300 tickets sold along with a limited number of designated driver tickets. It will focus on Valpo's own craft breweries. These events are part of a list of about a dozen beer festivals coming up this year from BrewFest Partners taking place in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Florida.
I attended my first BrewFest Partners event last fall, the Munster Ale Fest in Munster, Indiana which was a well-run and well-attended event where we sampled beers, hard ciders and wines from across the country. We had a nice variety of cuisine from a variety of food trucks, as well. I'm really looking forward to this next event - and I'll be sure to bring my Beer Schwing. If you don't have one, it's a total necessity at a BrewFest Partners event.
