The hamburger is the classic American casual food. They can be as simple and dressed down and a thin patty on a basic bun, but when you dress them up a bit with veggies and condiments and cheeses and bacon and aioli and quality buns, you've got a true work of foodie art. And, sadly this place has since closed, but it was a favorite spot in Wrigleyville to go before or after a game and they had amazing burgers, so had to give it a shout out. I'm still in mourning over it.
